You know, sometimes I draw something and spend two days coloring it and then hate it afterwards. But that's not the case here. I LOVE this picture. It did exactly what I wanted it to, which is a rare occurance.

Okay, so on a character note, meet Ina Nelson and Jezzafend Seek. Ina, the girl sitting down with the wings, is from the 21st century, about thirty in her own personal time line, but due to a lot of weird time-y wim-y stuff, she's physically about twenty-one. Jezzafend is from the 27th century and probably a lot older than he looks. These two travel though time on a motorcycle.

Fashion wise, I wanted to pull stuff from all sorts of different eras, which is why they ended up looking a little steampunk (not that this is a bad thing, see, because steampunk is incredibly sexy), but I think pulling influences (Namely Ina's wings and a lot of the sort of strangeness of Jez's clothing) helped that out.

The title comes from the song One of Our Submarines by Thomas Dolby, who is one of my new favorite musicians, for no apparent reason. And no, I don't care that I only have his first album which was put out in '82 or something, it's still good.
