Button Bright and Dorothy Gale of the Oz books by L. Frank Baum ^^

What? You've never heard of Button Bright? Dorthy Gale doesn't look like that? Oh, get a life. Yeah, Dorothy is actually about eight (Not in this picture, but in the books) and she's blonde. She's also pretty Kickass. Button Bright comes in in The Road to Oz so most of you probably don't know him, but he gets lost all the time. Like, constantly.

Based on the Illustrations of John R. Neill, who did the original illustrations for the Oz books.

I wanted to do them modern but if you are familiar with Oz you'll see that the background is reminiscent of the covers of the books. The clip in Dorthy's hair is because I couldn't very well give her her full crown (Yeah, Dorthy is a princess of Oz after book three)

While I do think that the Wiz is pretty freakin' cool, this one was based on the original illustrations, not my personal interpretation. Maybe next time?
